GROUP CLASSROOM TRAINING(YOUTH ONLY)


Each year, the Lackawanna County Youth Council solicits proposals for Out-of-School Youth (OSY) Group Classroom Training Activities. Periodically throughout the year, different activities will be available to anyone between the ages of 18 to 21 inclusive that meet WIA eligibility requirements.

At this time, the following class is now forming:

Tree Care Training

Conducted Locally by Keystone Training; forty (40) hours per week of a combination of classroom and outdoor hands-on instruction in climbing and trimming techniques, ropes and knots, tree removal, safety, tree insect identification; Monday through Friday 8:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. for eight (8) weeks.
