GED/REMEDIAL INSTRUCTION


On January 1, 2004, the Lackawanna County Workforce Investment Area implemented, on-site at the Lackawanna County CareerLink, a state-of-the-art computer remediation lab. Designed primarily to provide instructional help in math and reading skill sets for youth program clients, the lab is also equipped with an employability skills component, all of which will be available for all Ages.

Available March 1, 2004 the lab will also be equipped with an interactive, computerized pre-GED program providing detailed lesson plans for GED test preparation.

All Lab Activities are coordinated through an on site lab instructor as part of an overall participant employment plan.
