Individual Case Management/Counseling
Every WIA customer, once determined eligible, will receive individualized case
management services from a WIA Customer Service Representative. All WIA staff are
professionals trained in serving the public in their search for employment or reemployment.
Staff assist WIA customers in development of a suitable training plan and outline of
employment goals. The staff provides the initial assessment of training requests
and suggests appropriateness prior to submittal for approval. The staff assists in
resume preparation; development of appropriate cover letters; dress for success
instructional interviewing techniques; internet job search assistance; and other
activities as individualized. Assistance is also provided in registering for State
Civil Service testing.
